Adding and Subtracting Polynomials Fortune Teller Activity

In this activity, students will pair up to reveal their “fortunes” in adding and subtracting polynomials. Students will fold their fortune tellers (aka cootie catchers) and then add or subtract the polynomials according to the options they choose on the fortune tellers This is a fun, active way for students to practice their skills and to build relationships with one another! The activity includes 3 different fortune tellers (for variety), an answer key, directions and tips for running the activity smoothly, and instructions for folding the fortune teller.
