In this activity, students will practice comparing and ordering sets of numbers (fractions, decimals, and percents) as they color! Students will determine if sets of numbers are correctly placed in order from least to greatest and color the picture according to their answers to reveal a beautiful, colorful mandala. If sets are not in the correct order, students must place them in the correct order in the space provided in the third column of the worksheet. The students will stay engaged with the coloring brain breaks between exercises and the final products will provide beautiful decor for your classroom!
This no-prep activity is an excellent resource for sub plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, and extra practice with some fun. It is especially useful for end-of-year practice, spiral review, and motivated practice when students are exhausted from standardized testing or mentally “checked out” before a long break (hello summer!). Even unmotivated students enjoy coloring, so give them the opportunity to enjoy practicing their skills with this fun color-by-number activity!
